FC-100 Cash Flow Stability Specialist – Financial literacy online and live training program. Learn financial literacy skills, masters software tools and software programs to help individuals stand in financial reality. FC-101 Foundations and Co-Creating the Coach/Client Relationship. Comprehensive overview of financial coaching fundamentals. - (6 - 90 minute Virtual Classroom sessions) as they pertain to working with individuals as a coach instead of advisor, consultant or mentor. Includes the tenants of financial coaching vs. other coaching models. 90 minute sessions 9 credit hours toward certification see calendar for course details FC-102 Helping Clients Develop a Heart of Peace in Their Money Relationships (8 - 60 minute Audio Conference Call sessions) This training begins with an 8 week course conducted by the ARBINGER Institute in a Tele-course format. Participants gain powerful new insights about their own relationships as well as relationships between other people-- important in the work of a Certified Financial Coach. Participants read The Anatomy of Peace (by the Arbinger Institute) to learn about the deeper causes of interpersonal challenges. (2 additional hours covering this coursework are provided in FC105) FC-103 ON-SITE CONFERENCE – Coaching Skills/Competencies for the Certified Financial Coach™ Evening of January 12, 2011 ends Noon January 25th. (18 hours of credit toward certification is awarded for this on-site session) Held in Littleton Colorado -Begins 7PM Thursday Evening, Friday 8AM - 7PM , Saturday 9AM - 6PM, Ends Sunday at Noon. You will learn to coach using ICF Core Competencies during this interactive coaching experience. (2 additional credit hours following conference to reinforce skills learned in on-site training) FC-104 Using financial coaching tools and marketing programs in your work with clients and business relationships
(10 - 60 minute virtual hour sessions) Specific proprietary coaching tools and processes allow you to coach clients to see their relationship with money with new eyes. Take advantage of social media, presentation materials, FinLAB Instructor status and marketing designed specifically for the Certified Financial Coach™. FC105 Coaching Clients from the Authentic Code of Living and Abundance. (6 – 60 minute virtual hours includes additional course training from FC102) Participants explore each of the following ICF coaching competencies from the Authentic Code of Living and Abundance in four hours of this training. Lead Faculty for this course is Joan King; Ph.D. Joan is a neuroscientist, Master Certified Coach, international speaker and author. FC106 – Ethics in Financial Coaching (5 – 60 minute sessions) Comprehensive overview of ICF coaching ethics and standards plus overview of the added responsibilities and ethical standards for the Certified Financial Coach Topics/skill training includes: understand and exhibit behaviors meeting ICF Standards of Conduct; understand and follow ICF Ethical Guidelines; refer clients to other support professionals and financial professionals (knowing when it is needed and available resources); understand the ethical guidelines associated with the financial industry; red flags to watch for when referring financial professionals; identify risk exposures, legal aspects of financial coaching vs. advising; ethical guidelines in working with financial professionals and offers they may make. This course prepares Participants to work effectively with clients and brings Participants face to face with ethical questions and situations they may encounter in their work. (Financial Coaching Ethics Coursework This session also serves as CE hours toward professional licensing (call for details). FC-100 Offered Quarterly throughout 2012. Instructors helping you complete training and exams. Required – 5 virtual webinar sessions with instructors to review learning and application to coaching CFMS "Standing in Financial Reality". A program to help you stand in your own financial reality featuring debt management training and Financial Literacy training around CASH FLOW LONGEVITY. 5 credit hours toward certification. 5 - 60 minute Virtual Classroom sessions - offered 2 times in 2011. You will choose when you will take the live sessions which are held Tuesday evenings. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSING: MENTOR COACHING -- each Qualified Participant must complete ten hours of mentor coaching and pass oral exam in order to finalize their requirement. The cost of the ten hours is not included in tuition costs for the COACH TRACK PROGRAM (The CFC-Board of Governors has arranged a special pricing of $150.00 an hour for individuals in the NEW CAREER OR SEASONED FINANCIALPROFESSIONAL TRACKS).
Application processing fee: UPON COMPLETION OF ALL COURSEWORK AND RECEIVING MENTOR COACHING COMPLETION CERTICATE, PARTICIPANTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR LICENSING AS A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL COACH BY APPLICATION TO THE CFC-BOARD OF GOVERNORS. The application fee is $199.00 and includes a background check. Starting two years after initial licensing, each Certified Financial Coach™ must complete 5 continuing education credits and pay 175.00 every other year to continue to be licensed as a Certified Financial Coach™.
